A picture reportedly showing several high-profile persons detained by Saudi Authorities at the Ritz-Carlton was circulated on social media today.

The picture depicts several people sleeping on mattresses in a hall converted to a detention hall. The identities of those in the picture are unknown.

According to Saudi media, the number of high-profile persons detained by orders of the Higher Anti-Corruption Committee has increased to 49, with princes, ministers, and businessmen arrested.

The Committee, chaired by the Saudi crown prince, Prince Mohammad bin Salman, ordered the detention of 11 princes, four ministers, and dozens of ex-ministers.

It was formed by the royal decree of King Salman.
